Birthday Parties

Birthday Parties are a special time at Amelia Park Children's Museum as kids enjoy a fun-filled session of "discovery" time in the exhibit area.

Details include the following:

  • Parties are two hours long, held on Saturdays and Sundays from either 10am-12pm, 1pm-3pm, or 4pm-6pm.
  • The cost of the party is as follows:
    • Half of the Programming Room
      • $125.00 for two hours for up to 10 children
      • Each additional child is $7.00
      • Up to 20 guests
    • Full Programming Room

      • $175.00 for two hours for up to 10 children
      • Each additional child is $7.00
      • Up to 40 guests.
  • A nonrefundable $65.00 deposit is required within 7 days of booking to hold your date. 
  • Your special party includes admission to the museum, face painting, a craft, and one-on-one with animals.  You may bring cake, ice cream, pizza or other food for your party.  We are happy to refrigerate or freeze any refreshments you bring.
  • We ask that you provide your own paper products and decorations.

Frequently Asked Questions

What time can I arrive in order to set up for the party?
You may arrive up to 30 minutes before your schedules party time.

 Where do my guests park?
There is a parking lot behind our facility for patrons of the museum, as well as a loadingand unloading drop off spot on the side of museum. The parking in front of the museumis not for the use of the museum for it belongs to the Boys & Girls Club.

 What time must I leave the museum?
You and your guests are allowed to stay in the museum until the museum closes at 4pm. However, all belongings must be removed from the party room by 15 minutes after your scheduled party time.

 What if a guest brings a sibling, must I pay for the sibling?
“If you play, you pay!” As per policies, all children that use our exhibits must be included in the party costs. Ten children are included in the package price, any child over this amount is an additional fee of $7.

 What is the policy on shoes in the museum?
Socks are required throughout the museum. On our Kid’s Universe exhibit, there is a slide where shoes are not allowed, but the children must wear socks per state-wide health policies.

Other Rentals
The Amelia Park Children's Museum is available for private use for businesses and organizations. Special fees, hours and restrictions do apply. Advance scheduling and museum approval of the event is required. Please call and arrange your next meeting in a vibrant, unique setting.
